My Thoughts on Our Friend the Wolf
"I love wolves - as far as I am concerned man is interferring way to much with their wolf management plans. The hunters complaining about the wolves killing all the moose and/or caribou. The farmers complaining about the wolves eating their livestock. How many of the farmers complaints are true I really don't know but my opinion is that some of these farmers are just out to make a quick buck and they don't care what damage that they inflict along the way.
The wolves, the moose, the caribou, the buffalo were all here long before the white man came along and forced themselves upon the land. They almost succeeded in eradicating the wild buffalo and have eradicated some species of the wolf and now they are working on all wildlife. Soon there will be no wildlife left for our future generations to enjoy." Lynne [Forum Owner]

- Wolves live in packs, like an extended human family -
Where there are mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles and occasionally grandparents. Wolves typically live in areas where there is low human disturbance of the countryside. Biologists once thought that wolves could only live in 'wilderness' however, they have since found out that like it's smaller cousin, the coyote, wolves can live in most areas that supports an ample game population and where human, through better education and understanding, permit them to live as wolves.
